Add Rates, rules and amenities..

The Rates and Amenities Module as currently envisioned would provide at least the following features:

Rates and Rates Rules:
• Allow Property Owners to assign rates and rate rules to each unit such as:
• Weekend rates
• Weekday rates
• Single night stays allowed on Saturdays, but Fridays require 2 night stay minimum and rates for each option etc
• Bookings made by Brokers and Admins would automatically follow the rates and other business rules

Amenities:
• Allow Property Owners to include Amenities information which would be available to assigned Brokers
• Amenity and Rates Filters to short list calendar items based on renter requirements
• Truth in advertising: Owners could mark certain amenities as being unavailable during servicing so Brokers would have current amenity status
• Avoid customer complaints by referring only properties where this is a required amenity

Reporting:
• Track reservations income
• Track costs like cleaning costs, brokerage percentage rates etc
• Export Reports to popular programs such as Excel and Quicken

• Other features as requested and voted up

Add an "M" option for Maintenance on the calendar

If we are booking just about every day of the week, like in the summer, sometimes we block out a day for maintenance. This is especially true when there is only one day open between a long string of bookings. If we enter that day like normal,...

We currently have the "Reserved by Owner" option for maintenance, but I am curious if other users are interested in expanding this feature as suggested here.

Report: Summary for the Year with Revenue

Make the number of adults/kids a mandatory field...

and add a button that specifies if this is exact or an estimate. We price according to headcount, so this is how I forecast my revenue.

My only concern here is that this will require these fields to be entered for every booking, even when blocking out for RESERVE BY OWNER.

Report: Booking comparison to previous years

Have a report that looks at each property and compares how many bookings we have for each property this year, compared to the same time last year.

Default info listed on Booking sheet...

I would like the opportunity to complete information on the owner’s profile info for each property that answers certain questions proactively. These would show up when you clicked on a specific date for a property to book it, or could be a tab...

These ideas (and others) might work well in a new premium add-on module we have been considering called a "Rates Module".

These types of features would most likely be added to that module rather than to the current scheduling calendar.

Voting for these ideas will give us a way to gauge how important a "Rates Module" would be.

Report: Revenue calculator function

Allow user to enter their own revenue calculation for each property as a means to estimate revenues ( ie – # Jan bookings * $450 + # Feb * $450 + # Mar *$550… ). Allow access only by defined user and let them save it in their profile so...

Send Email when booking is updated

If an exsisting booking changes, ie add or delete dates, or just moves it over a day, no email is sent today. Just change the existing booking and have it send an updated new noreply email with a note on it to that effect.

Highlight current date in calendar

Would be great if the current date could be highlighted in the number for the calendar. Kinda helps show where we are in the month.

Allow Owners to see Brokers Booking Comments...

When a booking is put on Open Arms, make sure any notes at the bottom of bookings go to the property owners attention. We have not seen this happen.

Owners can see Brokers comments in the EMAIL notifications today, but not in the HOVER HELP in the calendar.

Should we show Brokers comments to the Owners in the hover help too?

add a Cancelled column to the Rentals Report

To indicate if a particular booking was cancelled. This helps to clear up confusion of what would otherwise look like overlapping bookings.

Filter list of available units only by time range

Include a First Night of Stay and Last Night of Stay filter option to show only units that are available for those dates in the calendar list. Make visible for Brokers all the time or owners with more than 20 units only.
